DESCRIPTION:Vaishali Kamble \, a Master of Social Work (MSW) student from Mumbai University \, visited the office of Bandh Foundation on Tuesday\, May 12\, 2026. She was informed about the activities of Bandh Foundation and asked to participate in the program on May 16\, 2026.\nOn 16th May 2026\, Riya Saundatte and Sahil Dhekale\, B.Tech. students from College of Engineering Pune and Vaishali Kamble\, a Master of Social Work (MSW) student from Mumbai University\, who are undergoing training at “Bandh Foundation”\, Kolhapur\, distributed useful ready-made clothes available at “Bandh Foundation” to poor and needy women and children of Rajendra Nagar\, Kolhapur.\nAlso\, through the “Bandh Foundation”\, the work of filling water in the water fountains running at Renuka Chowk\, Subhash Road\, Mangwar Peth\, Kolhapur was done.\nThe founder president of “Bandh Foundation”\, Shri Arun Patil\, member Shri Omkar Patil\, as well as trained volunteers were present for this program.

But around the world\, this biodiversity is being lost at an unprecedented rate.\nMay 22\, 2026\nThe theme of the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) 2026 — “Local Action for Global Impact” — is a call for all of us to take action to prevent and reverse the loss of biodiversity. Biodiversity conservation includes actions that start right next to our homes and can have positive impacts far beyond our borders. \nOn 22 May 2026\, people around the world will come together to put biodiversity at the centre of attention — in communities\, in schools\, online\, or through activities that connect people with nature. There is no single way to get involved; these International Day for Biological Diversity celebrations can take many different forms and formats.\nOn the occasion of International Biodiversity Day\, today\, May 22\, 2026\, “Bandh Foundation” Kolhapur visited the tree plantation done in the school premises in the year 2025 at “Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Primary and Secondary Ashram School” in Pachgaon\, Taluka Karveer\, District Kolhapur. The work of removing the grass around the planted trees and providing water through pipes was done by trainees from Bandh Foundation\, Riya Saundatti\, Sahil Dhekale\, Vaishali Kamble. In this work\, “Bandh Foundation” President Shri Arun Patil\, Member Shri Omkar Patil\, teachers and staff of the school provided necessary assistance.
