DESCRIPTION:It was found that there was space available for tree plantation in the school premises at “Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Primary and Secondary Ashram School” in Pachgaon \,Taluka Karveer \, district Kolhapur .\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nUpon further inquiry\, the Ashram School sought help for tree plantation in the school premises.\n    Accordingly\, they were guided to dig 2’ * 2’ * 2’ size pits. This work had been going on for the last two months. “50 trees of more than 5’ height were purchased from Vasundhara Nursery\, Girgaon through “Bandh Foundation” Kolhapur and given to the school.\n    Since the Ashram School has arrangements for water supply\, today\, February 27\, 2026\, on the occasion of Marathi Language Day\, as per the invitation of the Ashram School\, under the guidance of the founder president of the Bandh Foundation\, Shri Arun Patil\, members Shri Prakash Bagewadi\, Omkar Patil\, trees were planted in the school premises by the teachers and non-teaching staff\, students of the Ashram School. Shri Prakash Bagewadi provided invaluable assistance in selecting suitable trees for planting in the school premises.\nIn the subsequent program\, retired forest officers \,Shri Arun Patil and Shri Prakash Bagewadi also provided information to the Ashram School students on how to take care of trees.

There is no single way to get involved; these International Day for Biological Diversity celebrations can take many different forms and formats.\nOn the occasion of International Biodiversity Day\, today\, May 22\, 2026\, “Bandh Foundation” Kolhapur visited the tree plantation done in the school premises in the year 2025 at “Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Primary and Secondary Ashram School” in Pachgaon\, Taluka Karveer\, District Kolhapur. The work of removing the grass around the planted trees and providing water through pipes was done by trainees from Bandh Foundation\, Riya Saundatti\, Sahil Dhekale\, Vaishali Kamble. In this work\, “Bandh Foundation” President Shri Arun Patil\, Member Shri Omkar Patil\, teachers and staff of the school provided necessary assistance.

DESCRIPTION:Today\, Tuesday\, May 26\, 2026\, from 12 to 1.30 pm\, a luncheon was organized with senior citizens of the old age home on the occasion of the memorial day of the foundation member\, Late Bharati Arun Patil\, through “Bandh Foundation”\, Kolhapur\, at “Matoshree Old Age Home” Chambukhadi (Old Phulewadi Naka\, Gaganbawada Road).\nThe program was attended by the Foundation President Shri Arun Patil\, members Shri Dhanraj Patil\, Namrata Patil\, Omkar Patil and all volunteers\, retired forest officer Mrs. and Mr. Dashrath Godse. Also\, trainees of Bandh Foundation\, Riya Saudat\, Vaishali Kamble were present.\nMrs. Nisha Sunil Patil distributed bed sheets to all the employees and senior citizens of the old age home.\nEveryone discussed and shared a meal with the senior citizens of the old age home.
