On 28th January 2025, I visited the sugarcane harvesting workers’ camp in the Chhatrapati Rajaram Cooperative Sugar Factory area of Kasba Bawda, District Kolhapur. Through “Bandh Foundation” Kolhapur, useful ready-made clothes were distributed to the workers there, as well as sarees and dresses to women and children.
Most of the laborers were from Beed district. Bandh Foundation volunteers Mrs. Yugandhara Chavan, Omkar Patil and President Arun Patil were present at the program.
